Electrical Utility Designer
Primary Responsibilities Constructing dimensional relationships of one part to another and a relationship of various parts to entire project, utilizing knowledge of engineering practices and mathematics.
Creating a preliminary and/or final sketch of proposed drawing, using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.
Modifying drawings as directed by engineer or design coordinator.
Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary.
ELECTRIC UTILITY DRAFTER OR DESIGNER EXPERIENCE A MUST Requirements Local candidates are required as expenses/per diem is not approved for this assignment.
1-2 years of Electrical Utility experience Advanced in AutoCAD Ability to work under pressure Authorization to work in the US without restriction.
Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have reliable personal transportation, which will be used for driving to/from field locations.
This position requires field work and use of personal vehicle; as a result, the employee must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license and insurance.

Provide project Instrument and Electrical Design for projects by working with project managers and other design discipline engineersPossess a very good understanding of the designs for any system within / discipline once design guidelines and system criteriaPreparing layouts and design of complex onshore Instrumentation systems utilizing Company 2D and 3D modeling softwareProvide instrument and electrical design support to for client's Engineering Department DESCRIPTION Experience with Midstream/Downtstream Liquid Natural GasMake a move at timePerform layout drawing and checking of schematic diagrams as supplied in rough form by electrical engineeringProvide dedicated CAD draftsperson for Mechanical & Electrical scopesWork in the U.

without a need for foreign Visas, other than a TN VisaPrepare specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements with direction from supervisorCompleting project designs to quality, project budget and scheduleDemonstrate the ability to support improvement projectsManage and seek out information in order to keep work moving smoothly in a start-up cultureWork on plant equipment and facility projectsPrepare engineering drawings packages of moderate and high complexity for the design and construction of new and existing communications sites based on existing drawingsDevelop preliminary sketches and designs based on early engineering effortsRun until the end of JulyReduce excessive workload for other CAD draftspersonProduce schematic diagrams and/or CAD drawings for submission to customers, plant, operations or outside vendors to produce the specified wiring harnesses, printed circuit cards, mechanical supportWork independently as well as in a team environmentWork under direction of a Lead designer to help provide electrical and instrumentation design expertise to the project to meet scope, schedule, and customer commitments.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
